I was totally looking forward to this comic solely because of DEATH'S HEAD, not gonna lie. The last time Darkhawk was involved in an event it was WAR OF KINGS, one of my favorite stories. And Darkhawk was pretty freakin sweet in that story. Seeing that this new Darkhawk book was essentially doing the same thing with Marvel's latest event INFINITY WAR, I had to check it out.
And you know what? It was awesome!
Great artwork! Writing that was steeped in continuity and nailed the characters as I remembered them. This is one of those books where it felt practically tailor made for me. It's the first part of a 4 issue mini series tie-in and I can't wait for the next three issues. And I'm hoping Death's Head will be involved in more than just this one issue too.
