HALLOWEEN HORROR DAYS 2017!!!!

"The blood is the life"

Hello and welcome once again to another October and another month of straight horror films day after day after day! This is Blood Work's fourth annual and my personal time honored tradition of what I have come to call...

HALLOWEEN HORROR DAYS!

For those of you who're new to Blood Work and aren't as familiar with our... strange proclivities, every October we count down the days to our favorite holiday with a different horror movie every day for thirty-one days straight! That's a 31 day movie marathon! Of course we encourage you to watch along with us and revel in the thrills of a good horror movie. If we could squeeze in more than thirty-one movies (and believe me we try) we would, especially on Halloween night.

We're pretty open about which horror movies we will watch, anything from the silent horror classics, Universal's classic monsters, Hammer horror, the Italian giallo, the 80's horror boom, horror/comedies, and the even scarcer horror/romance. And we certainly enjoy the horror films of today. There are some we don't particularly enjoy but appreciate just the same, like a "Soul Crusher" film (which we include at least one every year).

Every day this month expect a new post here on Blood Work reviewing a different horror movie. Like I said earlier, we encourage you to follow along with our posts and if you have the means to watch the same movies we are please do and let us know what you think too! Horror is our favorite genre and, while we try to remain objective with our reviews, sometimes we can get a little blinded with enthusiasm (and for that we beg your forgiveness). We can't help it. We love this stuff and would love to hear from others who do to.

And in case you just can't get enough of the scares, blood, and guts this season please feel free to go the Blood Work graveyard of old posts and exhume the bodies of the horror films we've already devoured. There's a lot to dig up! Just click the link below!

And of course

HAPPY HALLOWEEN HORROR DAYS!

Let's get started, shall we?
