Hello everyone! As some of you may know, I am writing for the website COMICONVERSE. I have been covering the current comic books from Marvel Comics and BOOM! Studios such as Doctor Strange and Kong of Skull Island.
For myself and anyone else interested I am documenting each of my articles here at Blood Work.

Damnation has completely wrapped up and I must say that I'm pleased with the results, albeit not in the way I was expecting. Doctor Strange, Wong, and Ghost Rider come out of this looking pretty good, which is great. Sadly though, Man-Thing, Brother Voodoo, Blade, and Elsa Bloodstone are basically there for a distraction and aren't showcased as well as I'd hoped. I also didn't really care for the art in issues #2 & #3. But the writing came together very well, aside from most of the supernatural heroes involved being essentially worthless.
There are some truly amazing visuals in issue #4 including a panel of nearly every Ghost Rider there ever was, which I totally geeked out about too. Johnny Blaze becoming king of Hell was pretty cool too, just wish they would've mentioned how he was the SECOND Ghost Rider to do so after Danny Ketch.
Anyway, had the artwork been better in the earlier issues I imagine this book would've gained more traction. I'm hoping for a MIDNIGHT SONS book to come out of this but I doubt the current comics climate would support such a book right now. Here's hoping though!
