DEFACER JULY 2026 UPDATE
JULY UPDATE:
Kicked off the month with a great signing at Trade A Tape Comic Center! There was a wonderful turnout and we sold more books than expected! A big thank you to everyone who showed up and especially the fine folks at Trade A Tape for inviting us and hosting.
The third book is currently with our editor, under contract, with editing scheduled to begin in the coming weeks, by the end of July. The agreed upon completion date is October 19th, but it could reach completion sooner than that. Once our editor has finished, then it's the matter of going through the manuscript one more time and implementing the necessary changes, whatever they may be.
If there's a lot of changes needed, it could take some time. If there's not too many changes necessary, the book could come out quicker than expected. In any case, Defacer III will be published and in your hands in 2027. That's a promise.
There's some crazy stuff that happens in this book and we're eager to hear what our editor has to say (also a bit scared, to tell the truth). You never know what people will think, and it always leaves us feeling a bit nervous. Of course, we can't wait for you all to read it and hear what you think too! Defacer III is gonna be one helluva read, we promise.
The cover art for Defacer III is finished. We'll be teasing it here soon. Before that, it will be on display at our following book signings coming soon (a little incentive to come out and meet us). The artwork is once again from Anton Atanasov, the same cover artist on Defacer 1 & 2, and we couldn't be happier with it. Can't wait for you all to see it!
As for the next book signing events, Barnes & Noble is once again hosting another book signing for us next Saturday on July 25th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and again in November for the annual local authors event. We're again promoting Defacer 1 and Defacer 2 while teasing the coming of Defacer 3. Once again, the next book signing event is:
